The production of new work had already slowed down due to the fact that I’m taking a few courses at the university, trying to finish my BFA. Then something unexpected happened, my uncle found a kitten that had been abandoned and brought her to my mom rather then taking her to the SPCA where she may have gotten put down. So now I’m dividing my time between taking care of the new addition (we named her Tesla), homework, and art!
but in other news, I’ve joined a collective! the Pick Me Up artists’ Collective. Started by and including some awesome people I went to school with. If artistic talent could power a rocket ship, these people would be on the moon…that’s my lame sentence for the day. Anyway, back to screaming kittens and homework assignments! New work to come, I promise.
